Tiger Woods has successfully made the cut at the 2022 PGA Championship. He carded 69 and remained -1 for the day and +3 for the event. Moreover, the cutline for the event came in at +4, and hence Woods managed to make it to the weekend. However, plenty of prominent names like Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler couldn’t make the cut.
Furthermore, after completing his round, Tiger Woods, as usual, fulfilled his media duties. He gave post-round interviews to multiple broadcasters. Therefore, after talking to the host Henni Koyack, there was a beautiful, wholesome moment.
Tiger smiled, threw his mic gently, and gave Henni, a former pro golfer now a broadcaster, a hug. Moreover, both of them are close friends, and Henni was the first to interview Tiger Woods after his car crash. Hence, Woods has a special bond with Henni, which was visible in their recent interaction.

Tiger Woods is still positive about winning the event
After a challenging start to the event, Tiger Woods was struggling a lot with his leg. He was clearly in pain, and it looked like Woods might grapple even more in the second round. However, the 46-year-old golfer was determined and did not back off as he carded 69 for the day and successfully made his way into the weekend.

Moreover, currently, he is around 12 strokes behind the 36-hole leader Will Zalatoris, and Woods still believes he can win this tournament. “The mission is to go ahead and win this thing,” said Tiger. “I’ve won tournaments on the cut number. There’s a reason why you fight hard, and you’re able to give yourself a chance on the weekend.”
Therefore, Woods is still going strong, and the mission is still to lift the trophy. However, this isn’t easy as the conditions will be on the colder side. And as we have seen at the Augusta National that when conditions are cold, it becomes difficult for Tiger to move his body.
